Position: Cake Decorator (Part-time or Full-time)

Cake Decorators working at Cafe L'Ami will be responsible for baking and decorating the various pastries and goods on the Cafe L'Ami menu.

Job Duties

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Maintain an organized work area
• Mix various ingredients to create fillings/creams for cakes/tarts/pies
• Cutting various fruits for decorative purposes
• Decorating cakes to meet store standards
• Icing various types of cakes
• Prepare daily store and custom-ordered cakes based on customers’ preferences
• Receive and organize stock

Job Qualifications

• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Time-management skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work/communicate efficiently as a team-member
• Strong attention to detail

• Previous experience as a baker/cake decorator or similar role is preferred, but not required (Cafe L'Ami is willing to train inexperienced applicants on baking and cake decorating skills).
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
