Position Opportunity:

Accountant, on-site position, is a hands-on accounting professional with proven problem solving, analytical, and communication skills. Must have experience with full cycle month-end closing processes and financial reporting requirements. This position will perform manufacturing analysis while supporting the establishment of more efficient accounting procedures. A successful candidate combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and computer skills to analyze accounts, transactions, and financial reports. The ideal candidate will also have experience collaborating with cross functional personnel and management to re-engineer existing processes targeted for improvement and drive new processes.

How you will make an impact:

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare day-to-day journal entries as well as month-end accruals.
• Analyze and record changes in inventory, intangibles, and provisions.
• Record journal entries, AP invoices, and AR billing
• Engage the business to support commentary on Balance Sheet flux analysis.
• Support group initiatives to improve the overall accounting and reporting process.
• Assist in the reconciliation of trading and accounting profit & loss.
• Perform the accounting, reconciliation, and analysis of North American inter-company receivables/payables.

Collaborate across the group in the preparation of quarterly financial reporting and the year-end audited financial reporting package to Korea.

• Maintain and reconcile all corporate GL accounts, including salary, prepayments, PP&E, and corporate receivables, and payables.
• Coordinate financial data and responses to regulatory reports.
• Assist in researching the application of accounting rules to various transaction.
• Provide monthly accounting / finance report to Korea.
• Prepares all vouchers and approved invoices for payment; processes all company payments in a timely manner.
• Responsible for customized billing.
• Communicate with relative company in Korea and U.S.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (or demonstrable equivalent experience)

Experience:

• Accounting up to 2 years
• Pharma or healthcare a plus
• Tax experience a plus
• Infor or SAP platform experience a plus
• IFRS Experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills:

• General knowledge of  Accounting and Good understanding of US GAAP
• English /Korean bilingual required
