KITCHEN STAFF

Job Duties

• Shape doughs for baking
• Use a fryer to prepare fried items
• Bake bakery items using both convection oven and deck oven.
• Receive, stock, and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner.
• Inform supervisors when equipment is not working properly and manage when food supplies are getting low.
• Complete various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Preparing all needed materials and ingredients.
• Responsible for scaling and shaping of all breads, loaves, and pastries.
• Sanitation procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of work station and kitchen.
• Ensure food safety standards

Job Qualifications

• Energized, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to solve problems quickly and properly.
• Open to feedback and constantly striving to improve.
• Able to work on a flexible schedule in the weekdays, weekends, and holidays (hours can be negotiable if requested).
• Able to lift items up to 50lbs to waist level and remain standing for long periods of time.
• No prior experience required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

CAFE STAFF

Job Duties

• Prepare and serve beverages and food items consistently by adhering to all recipe standards, while also delivering exceptional customer service.
• Be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and products.
• Assist with setup, cleanup, stock work and handling of food items.
• Follows L'AMI operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed.
• Maintains, or ensures maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment in accordance with L'AMI cleanliness and safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.

• The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and embraced working a flexible schedule.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• 1+ year experience in food service/hospitality is preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
