Sales Associate

This position will play a key role in the development, sales and marketing of Steel/New Business.  

JOB TITLE:                 SALES ASSOCIATE

WORK TYPE:              W2, FULL-TIME

LOCATION:               CERRITOS, CA

QUALIFICATION:         MUST BE LEGAL TO WORK AND ABLE TO TRAVEL IN THE US AND OVERSEAS

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively engage with customers over the phone, and via email to identify their needs and offer tailored solutions
  • Achieve sales targets by selling a wide range of steel products to existing and new customers
  • Build long-term relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Monitor and analyze market pricing, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Perform direct sales activities from securing purchase order to writing sales contracts
  • Process customer orders to suppliers, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products
  • Create detailed invoices, packing list as well as providing shipping schedules to customers
  • Oversee shipping status and customers credit/payment status
  • Report to head management and related H/Q team
  • Perform other related work as assigned
  • This position may require occasional travel to customer sites and trade shows

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1–5 year of work experience in Steel industry and/or Business Development (but not limited to)
  • Experience in a trading or import/export logistics preferred
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with customers, suppliers, and logistics
  • Ability to work in a fast and multi-paced environment
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
  • Fluency in English and Korean
